With over 20 years of coaching experience in various sports, I’ve discovered a wealth of transferable skills that I seamlessly apply to my soft tissue therapy practice. Passionate about empowering individuals to unlock their full potential, whether in sports or everyday well-being, what truly fuels my satisfaction is the intricate process, continuous education, and transformative journey. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of crossing paths with remarkable and captivating individuals.

Among the vital pillars of my approach lies the art of building professional relationships—transparent, open, and rooted in honesty. These connections serve as the bedrock of trust and confidence between myself and the athletes/clients I work with. Tailoring training programs and treatment plans to cater to specific events or desired outcomes necessitates a profound understanding of each person’s physiological, psychological, and mechanical makeup. Recognising that everyone responds differently to various training methodologies and treatments, I embrace the challenge of crafting customised approaches that suit individual needs.

Resilience and strength become indispensable companions on this journey. There will undoubtedly be ups and downs along the way, and the desired results may take time to materialise. Embracing uncertainty and patiently fielding unanswerable questions from athletes and clients, I anchor my trust in the professional relationships we’ve cultivated. Staying committed to a well-defined process and seeking opportunities to glean positives even from seemingly negative situations, I remain flexible and adaptable, adjusting plans when necessary.

An essential aspect of my practice revolves around listening intently to the reflections and feedback of my athletes and clients. Their insights offer invaluable perspectives that guide my methodology and decision-making. Staying vigilant to recognise warning signs and proactively addressing them, I ensure the well-being and progress of those under my care. Not only do I learn from the athletes themselves but also from my peers, constantly seeking avenues for self-reflection and continuous development. In this ever-evolving field, I am driven to provide the best and most up-to-date knowledge and practices to those who entrust their well-being to me.

Every day brings new lessons, new stories, and new challenges.
